Doglando's "Whole Dog" Approach
Doglando's training programs are much different from traditional "dog training," which is typically all about obedience.
Our unique programs provide an experience of 3 components that work together as a system for well-being:
- Training: This is the closest part to "traditional" training, where we teach key behavioral responses to specific signals. This is how your dog develops Skills.
- Canine Skill Building: Doglando's trainers help to generalize your dog's skills to different scenarios, situations, and environmental conditions. We want your dog to master their skills no matter where you take them. Skill Building makes it easier for you to take your dog to an unfamiliar public place such as an event, cafe, or to the beach.
- Canine Enrichment: This is where the magic happens at Doglando! We put Training + Skill Building together in an off-leash, nature-rich setting, which allows our Play Professors to offer rich learning opportunities for your dog, with total freedom of choice and space.
Canine Enrichment is Doglando's core specialty, and we highly recommend you offer this experience to your dog!

Video-Based Training Library
Through training, we teach your dog key behavioral responses to specific signals, which we refer to as "skills".

Canine Skill Building
We like to think of Skill Building as giving your dog a "job".
Rather than sitting at home waiting for you to get off work, we offer a full day of experiences that allow your dog to learn, play, and exercise.
During each week of your training program, we'll build upon the skills you're training your dog, and help generalize them to various scenarios, situations, and conditions (both on-campus and off-campus). This helps your dog master the skills and become fluent and confident in them.

Before enrolling in a training program at Doglando, we require all incoming members to join us on a FREE 1-hour Tour of our campus.
We want you to experience our 6-acre, nature-rich property for yourself, meet our Play Professors and Handlers, and observe Canine Enrichment in action before you decide if Doglando is the best lifestyle and experience you can offer your dog.
Also, unlike volume-based daycare and training programs, at Doglando, we focus on making your dog's first 2 weeks as enjoyable and stress-free as possible!
We give every new dog who enrolls in our PreK9 program the time to adjust to our campus environment, and to build a foundational relationship with our handlers in the Canine Skill Building part of our program.

At Doglando, we treat and respect every dog as an individual being on their own learning journey. A Doglando Team member will recommend the best training package for your puppy right now, based on their individual needs and personality.
After your tour, if you decide Doglando is right for you, we'll invite you to schedule a pre-enrollment Puppy Meet & Greet Assessment, which helps us recommend the program that will best serve you and your puppy.
** Our programs are not "one-size-fits-all". So, as your dog's behavior changes and evolves over time, we may recommend more (or fewer) Enrichment and Skill Building days to best support their learning journey.

Your Class Start Date
To deliver the uncommon individual level of training and care that we provide to all our dogs, we can only admit 3 new dogs at-a-time into Doglando's training programs - this happens roughly every 3 weeks.
We will get you enrolled as soon as possible, but please be aware that you may need to wait a few weeks before you start your training at Doglando. The personal attention you and your puppy will receive will be worth the wait.
After you complete your Puppy Meet & Greet Assessment, we'll let you know exactly when you can begin at Doglando with our trainers. Of course, you'll get all the video lessons as soon as you enroll, so you can get a head start by practicing at home before your program start date.
*Note: Any unused services in your 6-week package (including Training sessions, and Enrichment and Skill Building days) are non-refundable and non-transferable. Our programs are sold as a system-based training package, which must be consumed during the allotted timeframe of the program.
